While preserving their traditional techniques, artisans can now understand what people around the world desire. For the first time in history, you will encounter crafts created by artisans who truly understand what you want. And now, to celebrate the birth of the brand GIF Techcraft, we are hosting a variety of entertainment experiences here in Asakusa for international visitors to enjoy Japan even more.

However, they faced a significant challenge: "What should we create next?" We wondered: what if the soul-stirring "waza" of artisans could meet the "voices" of people around the world? Wouldn't something extraordinary emerge? GIF Techcraft is a craft brand born from that challenge. AI delivers your "voice" to artisans and fuses it with Japanese "waza," creating the crafts that everyone truly desired.

In Asakusa's Rokku district, a festival is held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—the "Asakusa Yomatsuri" (Asakusa Night Festival).
Asakusa Rokku, known as the "birthplace of Japanese entertainment," has produced many celebrated performers.
The "Asakusa Yomatsuri" held in this historic location is a new form of evening entertainment where you can enjoy light, music, food, sake, and traditional performing arts.
And now, to commemorate the birth of the brand GIF Techcraft, the futuristic chindon-ya "Silver Oiran" will appear at this Asakusa Night Festival. Based on the concept "It's time for Japan to listen to the world's voice," she will parade through the streets playing music composed from voices and wishes for Japan collected from international visitors.

What is a chindonya?
A chindonya is a traditional Japanese advertising method where performers in flamboyant costumes parade through the streets playing musical instruments to promote shops and events. We will use this nostalgic yet innovative performance to announce the birth of GIF Techcraft throughout Asakusa.
